Conference buses will pick up and drop off at two Sunshine Coast locations – the Mooloolaba beachfront adjacent to the Mantra Resort and Twin Waters Resort. We have recommended four prestigious resorts for your Sunshine Coast stay. Each have access to a patrolled stretch of ocean where beach lovers can surf, kayak, jet ski and sunbathe to their heart's content. The Mooloolaba beachfront also offers eateries, boutiques, specialist shops and galleries, while Twin Waters has resort eateries and a golf course.
Landmark (Mooloolaba)

Mantra Mooloolaba Beach (Mooloolaba)

Sirocco and Zanzibar (Mooloolaba)
Siroccoand Zanzibar both offer fully self-contained two and three-bedroom apartments within 50 metres of Mooloolaba's famous beach and shopping precinct. Both properties have heated swimming pools and picnic areas. Web link
Novotel Twin Waters resort (Mudjimba)
Lush tropical gardens. A private lagoon on which to kayak, sail or windsurf. Adjacent to a surf beach. A round of golf before the conference starts. For those travelling with family, this resort caters to kids. Web link
Kingfisher Bay Resort
This is the sole conference accommodation provider on Fraser Island and all delegates will stay at the Resort for the final two evenings of the conference. AUCEA has arranged special rates for delegates, and all bookings are to go through Corporate Travel Management as mentioned above. Kingfisher Bay Resort has kindly extended this special rate to delegates wishing to stay on immediately after the conference. Web link
Transfers
Transfers are provided to and from the above mentioned Sunshine Coast locations (the Mooloolaba beachfront adjacent to the Mantra and Twin Waters Resort) on Wednesday and on Thursday morning. Bus and boat transfers from USC to Fraser Island will occur on Thursday afternoon. Transfers will also be provided from Fraser Island on Saturday morning, dropping off at the following locations:
- University of the Sunshine Coast - approximate arrival time 2.15pm
- Sunshine Coast Airport - approximate arrival time 1.30pm
- Hervey Bay Airport - approximate arrival time 9.45am
